The “Four of Cups” card depicts a young man sitting under a tree with his arms crossed.
He is so engrossed in his thoughts that he doesn’t see a hand offering him a cup.
Near his feet are three cups, which are the 3 opportunities, which he doesn’t want to see or is ignoring. He isn’t impressed or satisfied with what he has.
This card indicates that the person in the card is taking his things for granted the things. He feels that the “grass is greener on the other side” and is not valuing the things he has in front of him.
This thought has made him sad and hence he can’t see what the universe is offering him. The answers to his sadness are right there, but he is focusing too much on what he doesn’t have.
